About us
wood consumption (2024)
Forests are the green lungs of Austria. Besides their social and economical function they also offer protection from avalanches, floods, falling rocks, landslides and other natural dangers. Austria is one of the most densely wooded countries in the European Union.
For a long time the domestic forestry industry has been considered an example of leading environmental achievements throughout the European Union and the world.
To keep it up, we from PAPIERHOLZ AUSTRIA attach great importance to the origin of the wood we purchase. The wood should stem from ecologically sustainable cultivation.
Our mission
The focus of our interest is supplying our owners with wood, the promotion and sustainable use of the renewable raw material, the wood, and the optimization of wood logistic services.
PAPIERHOLZ AUSTRIA is expected to fulfill high demands. Therefore we focus on the further education of our employees.
