Paper & Bioeconomy conference 2026

The PBC 2026 – formerly Paper Biorefinery Conference – took place on 20–21 May for the first time as the PAPER BIOECONOMY CONFERENCE. This decision highlighted the central importance of bioeconomy in its broadest sense for the pulp and paper industry. The organizers were confident that „it brings them even closer to the sector and its current topics“.

As usual, the conference will offer a high-quality programme, with this year’s focus on bioeconomy under the theme “Circular by design. Competitive by nature. Today’s innovations for tomorrow.” The integrated tradeshow and social evening events once again provide excellent opportunities for exchange and networking. Members of the Women4PaperIndustry initiative also came together once again to foster professional development, strengthen connections, thus underlining the industry’s commitment to diversity.
